The Biggest Game in the NFC With Dallas and Green Bay playing tonight, that's pretty much all that needs to be said. Picks appear in bold. Green Bay (+7) at Dallas To me, the Dallas offense is a little more consistent that Brett Favre and Co. The reason I'm taking the Pack is because I think that Green Bay's defense is a significant upgrade over their Dallas counterpart. San Francisco at Carolina (-3) Did you ever think you'd hear a fan base cry out, "thank God Vinny Testaverde's back"? OK, OK, I'm talking about this decade. No? Well then, you haven't had to live through the David Carr era. Detroit at Minnesota (-4) Four words...Adrian Peterson is back. Jacksonville (+7) at Indianapolis I don't know if it's their time to "sound the changing of the guard", but the Jags are much closer than any other team ever has been to uprooting the Colts from their perch atop the AFC South. San Diego (-6) at Kansas City It's just a feeling, but I think the Chargers are going to reel off five in a row to close out the season. New York Jets at Miami (PK) I mean, they gotta win sometime, don't they? Seattle (+3) at Philadelphia Look for the Eagles, and especially A.J. Feeley to some tumbling back down to Earth. They're simply not as good as they looked last week. Atlanta at St. Louis (-3) When two crappy teams play, I usually take the team with the best player. In this case, it's Steven Jackson. Fantasy football players, look for him to have a big day. Houston (+4) at Tennessee Will there ever come a time when the byline to this game isn't about Vince Young being snubbed by Houston? Let's remember, he wasn't even in the running for the overall number one pick. Bob McNair, Houston's owner, told him a week before the draft that they weren't taking him. It wasn't like it was a huge surprise to VY. Buffalo (+6) at Washington I just can't imagine what the Redskins could possibly have left after this week. Yes, they will be playing on emotion, but that only lasts for so long. Then, the fatigue from the last six days will set in. Cleveland (+1) at Arizona From what I hear, the Cardinals are probably going to miss Larry Fitzgerald in this one. That doesn't bode well for a team that's going to have to score 35 or more. Denver (-3.5) at Oakland With JaMarcus Russell and Jay Cutler, we'll see the two most powerful arms in the league on the same field. New York Giants (-1) at Chicago It's amazing how each of these teams still has a shot at the postseason with quarterbacks Rex Grossman and Eli Manning at the helm. Absolutely bizarre. Tampa Bay (+3) at New Orleans I'm not sure about Jeff Garcia's status, but I'm gambling on him being ready. Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (-7) I just hope the field doesn't remind us again of an English marsh. What a joke. New England (-20) at Baltimore For once, I feel kind of antsy about a Patriots game. Baltimore has the kind of defense that would give them fits (much like the Eagles last week). In the end, I just don't trust Kyle Boller to keep it close.
